- The Turkish Ministry of Health legalized 15 complementary medicine practices by enacting the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Regulation on October 27, 2014. Türkiye’s 12th Development Plan (2024–2028) commits to standardizing and expanding CAM practices based on evidence.
- Many universities, including Hacettepe, Ege, Medipol, and Bezmialem, have established Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) application and training centers; this field continues to gain academic legitimacy.
